Gaetane Iza Laure Thiney (born 28 October 1985 in Troyes) is a French football player
who currently plays for French club Juvisy of the Division 1 Feminine.
She plays as an attacking midfielder, but can also operate in the striker position.
Thiney is also a member of the France women's national football team making her first major
tournament appearance with her nation at UEFA Women's Euro 2009.
Thiney made her international debut on 28 February 2007 in a 2*0 victory over China.
During qualification for the UEFA Women's Euro 2009,
she scored two goals against Slovenia and Serbia.
On 28 October 2009, Thiney scored her first career hat trick in a
2011 FIFA Women's World Cup qualification match against Estonia in a 12*0 victory.
